We seem to have worjked out the approach to farming in abyssea, demostrated by our 5 hr farming run and 200k+ exp we finished due to tiredness, rather than running out of time.

Now we have there's a few suggestions I have for when and what we do in abyssea.

Farming
I'd suggest a night where we can start and not have work for most people the next day. This means friday or saturday. I'm inclined to say friday as sat has always been our event night and camps will be much busier for farming.

Any reasons why moving abyssea to friday is a problem?

Mega Boss wins
The goal seems to be to beat the mega in each 3 areas gives you rewards which are in the abyssea thread. I want to make sure we have these wins ready for the next expansion and itll also help for farming. Stuff like more blue chest bonus and better exp per kill etc.

So for the 2nd run of the week i'd like to do boss runs, probably means only 90 mins as no farming so no time extensions, which means a week njight is fine.

Tuesday sounds sensible? Normjla bos style Alliance (Tank PT -- DD/sata- BLM)

If you want to be involved in either of these nights please be on LS on time, if not earlier. 19:30 latest.

I'll wait for some disucssion in case ive missed somjething but assume event will be:
Tuesday:Abyssea Wins
Friday Abyssea Farm

I'd be up for this though Tuesdays and Wednesdays for me are already taken up for me outside game =/

Not available Tues nights and would prefer Saturday night or Sunday daytime instead of Friday. Or just stick to the nights we already have.

Friday might prove difficult to attend, but we'll see.

No point running an event that only gets good after 4 hours on a week night. Not going to replace dynamis. Not running events in the daytime at the weekend for 5-6 hrs, i have kids.

That leaves friday.

For the mega night we could still do sundays in fact as the stones will be saved anyway - might make more sense.

With all the extra time we get nothing stopping people running a LS exp farm without me on a week night still

friday sounds good
starting time might be a little challenging, i'm usually back at home from work @ 19h30 (in fact, last run, i happened to log early because i'm on summer schedule at work)
though, i can post/signup here before leaving work to let leaders know if i'm coming or not if that's ok
(and i'll log right at mawn, geared, so no wait time)

and imo friday is better than sunday, cause i think most of us dont work on sat.
